Mook Seafood is an oyster growing, holding, packing, and shipping building located in Walpole, Maine. The new building is 80’ wide by 130’ long and has a clean room for starting seed oysters that they sell all along the East Coast to other oyster farmers. The packing room is where they wash, sort, and bag the oysters before they are put in the walk in cooler. The holding room is where they hold and feed mature oysters and will allow Mook to still distribute oysters even when the Damariscotta River is closed due to storms and storm runoff.
