Sometimes you do not need to build onto your home to gain an extra room. I am not referring to kicking out current residents, but renovating basement spaces. Your basement is a whole other open space in your home and it does not need to be left as a dark, dank space. It can be refinished to be a game room or “Man Cave”. It can also make a great studio (perhaps you teach yoga or dance).
These are pictures of a Man Cave in progress. When complete, this room will include a home theater, pool table and bar. The brickwork gives it a rugged, but classy feel and it will be perfect for house parties or just hanging out with friends on a weeknight.
